Office Procedure

The purpose of the following office procedure is to allow us to more completely serve you and for you to get the best results in the shortest amount of time. It is our experience that those patients who adhere to the following office procedure get the best results.

Referrals:

We welcome referrals of your family and friends! We promise to provide your family and friends with courteous and professional care. Our Care Enough to Share Program helps to give the "nudge" your friend or loved one may need to make an appointment. Ask any one of our expert team members about how you can be part of the Care Enough to Share Program and help save a smile!

Office Procedure:

  1. When you arrive, please check in. If you have any personal or insurance information to update, you may do so with the receptionist
  2. Our NO WAIT POLICY: we intent to see you with in 15 minutes of your arrive. At times, emergencies arise and you may be seen later than 15 minutes from your arrival. Although this is unusual, if this happens, you will receive a free gift from us. Please see the receptionist.
  3. When in the treatment room with the doctor or hygienist, we kindly ask that you turn off all cell phones and pagers.
  4. While receiving your treatment by the doctor, you will be offered to watch a movie or listen to radio. We encourage this and even welcome you to bring your own.
  5. When receiving dental care, it is important that the room remain clear of additional guests other than the treating doctor, assistant and you.
  6. When children are receiving dental care, we ask parents to please relax in the reception area and give your child the courage to be a good patient on their own.
  7. Our doctors set up a specific course of treatment for you. A certain number of appointments in a set amount of time are essential in obtaining the best possible results. Thus, we ask that you fully schedule all needed appointments at the time of your consultation, first appointment or exam and do your best to keep them on schedule.
  8. We will call you to confirm any appointment 2 business days in advance. Therefore, we require 24 hours notice for any appointment change. If we do not receive 24 hour notice we may charge a 25.00 fee to your account and donate that fee to a charity of our choice.
  9. At any time if a question arises in regards to your treatment, we encourage you to ask the doctor or one of our expert team members
  10. We do not offer after hours emergency care however if you have a dental emergency we invite you to call our emergency hot-line at 652-7080 and a doctor will return your call with in the hour and answer your questions or direct you accordingly.

Insurance:

Our accounts manager is an expert in dealing with insurance companies and does the very best to obtain the most current and accurate information on your insurance benefits. Your treatment plan will include an estimate of what your insurance benefit will cover based on the information we receive from your insurance company. We can only be as accurate as they are. We will work with your insurance company to help you receive the maximum benefit allowed, however when a claim has been denied by your insurance company, the balance is payable from you. We will continue to assist you in obtaining reimbursement when possible. Any credit on your account will be returned to you with in 14 business days.

Payments:

We offer many financial programs to assist you in payment on a monthly schedule that's affordable. Payment is due at time of service and service begins when scheduling treatment from your plan. This reserves your appointment with the doctor and helps you commit to your dental care. We want you to get the best results possible and have found this is the best way to ensure that happens.
