Dr. Leslie Ann Glassbrenner, DMD grew up an only child, in a family of modest means. She was very close to her family and was especially fond her grandfather, of whom she spent a lot of childhood time with. Being an only child taught her the valuable lessons of being independent and driven.
With less than a high school education, her father, who owned and operated two restaurants, taught her that hard work pays off in the end. Leslie quickly adopted her father’s work ethic and embarked on a life of industrious endeavor.
After a visit to a dental office as a young girl, she decided to become a dentist herself. She saw in this profession a combination of medicine, patient rapport and art. After only three years of undergrad schooling, she was accepted early into dental school.
Having completed four years of dental school and emerging with a DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1998, she began her career as an Associate Dentist in Western New York.
In 2002, Dr. Glassbrenner purchased her practice from Dr. Edward Kucio in East Aurora and thus was born Gentle Dentistry of East Aurora, PLLC.
Taking the necessary steps of learning how to own and operate a dental practice as well as enhancing her dental skills so as to provide the best dental care possible in the best possible environment to the Western New York area became her goal.
As is evidenced by her many awards in the field of business, such as the prestigious 40 Under 40 Award and Buffalo Business First’s Fast Track 50 award three years in a row – signifying that Gentle Dentistry is one of Buffalo’s 50 fastest growing companies, it appears that she has realized that goal.
After several years of practice, Dr. Glassbrenner was asked by a colleague to help other dental practices apply the same philosophy and so began consulting dental practices throughout the United States by providing consulting services as well as introductory seminars on Business Administration.
This latest endeavor has helped to fulfill a childhood dream of helping other people by providing them with effective solutions to everyday problems.
Dr. Glassbrenner has been happily married since 2000 to her wonderful husband Gary who works with her in the practice. They are both avid animal lovers and have adopted a Rhino in Africa to help save them from extinction.
